dj bradley
dj bradley (bradley fitzhenry) is the founder of the production crew sonicfoundation and over the past decade has produced over 200 parties
in san francisco (sp0rk, groovesector, funkengruven) and fresno (d & s, sunday sessions at 2039, tasty, antidote, hothouse, focus, nectar,
aftersessions, groovejet, deep & funky).
he was born and raised in the central valley of california with musical tastes born out of a strange combination of influences: his mother's
fascination with seventies-era pop, the high school embrace of early-eighties goth and new wave, plus a late-eighties disk jockey stint at
the seminal and now legendary college radio station 90.7fm, kfsr. this melange of sounds coalesced in the mid-nineties when bradley was
introduced to the burgeoning underground house and rave scene in san francisco. it clicked. for over a year he quietly bought records and
practiced in his small apartment in fresno, california before playing his first gig in 1998 in los angeles alongside dj doran.
with the support of a growing fanbase, bradley began focusing his sound towards the deeper side of underground house. influenced by hometown
heroes oliver egon, chach, shawn, mitch, ali, dj matt williams, dj jordan, rusty, jason merle, clint storm and many others, he honed his mixing skills and knowledge of house
music and its culture. soon enough he found himself playing gigs in new york city, san francisco, oakland, seattle, los angeles and chicago, both headlining
and playing alongside some of the best in house music: johnny fiasco, jeno, garth, rick preston, james zabiela, deadmau5, martinez brothers, scott and robbie hardkiss,
mes, slater hogan, diz, john larner, jamie thinnes, alland byallo, adam warped, hector morales, cubase dan, homero espinosa, halo, hipp-e,
david harness, m3, carl cox, john howard...
bradley continues to bump the dance floor throughout the west coast and you can catch him every sunday in fresno, california
at "sunday sessions," at twenty39 ultralounge along with local and out-of-town guests.
